Papyrus (from Undertale, 2015)

-Middleweight character; somewhat tall, about as tall as Lucina

-Papyrus has a unique KO animation; white wisps of his body burst from the direction he blasted.

Papyrus's attacks

Neutral: Two punches then a kick.

Side tilt: Hammer fist.

Up tilt: Backhand swing overhead.

Down tilt: Leg sweep.

Dash attack: Full-body tackle.

Forward smash: Winds up a windmill punch then smashes the target.

Up smash: Bone Stacker; Papyrus summons a stack of bones from the ground to punch straight upward.

Down smash: Does the splits and smashes in either direction.

Neutral aerial: Mid-air cartwheel.

Forward aerial: Somersaulting ax kick. Causes meteor.

Back aerial: Sex kick.

Up aerial: His arms whirl like helicopter rotors.

Down aerial: Punches straight downwards. Causes meteor.

Grab: Papyrus takes off his head and snaps at the opponent. Reaches his arm’s length.

Pummel: Repeatedly bites the opponent. Very quick in succession.

Forward throw: The body kicks the opponent in the chest and launches the opponent forward.

Back throw: The arm rears back and throws the opponent backward.

Up throw: Papyrus lets go and the body kicks the opponent into the air before launching his head at the opponent to push further.

Down throw: Stomps the opponent repeatedly.

Floor attack (front): Double hammer fist.

Floor attack (back): Bone sweep.

Floor attack (trip): Leg twist on his pelvis.

Edge attack: Climbs up with a bone club.

Neutral special: Boiling Spaghetti—Papyrus produces a pot of hot spaghetti noodles and throws it. The angle depends on the time spent pressing the button. Good for edge guarding due to its speed.

-Custom 1: Cold Spaghetti—Papyrus produces a pot of leftover spaghetti noodles and throws it. Doesn’t go as far, but causes freezing.

-Custom 2: Boiling Spaghetti Sauce—Papyrus produces a pot of hot, savory spaghetti sauce and throws it. The angle doesn’t change, and the execution is slower, but Papyrus gains super armor and the attack deals more damage.

Side special: Spinning Skeleton—Papyrus whirls his arms around, traveling in the direction input. He looses a punch at the end. This move reflects projectiles.

-Custom 1: Fiery Spinning Skeleton—Papyrus is on fire. His arms cause more flinching and trapping.

-Custom 2: Bonenado—Papyrus pulls enemies in then launches them upwards.

Up special: Blue Attack—Jumping extremely high, Papyrus turns blue and comes crashing back down. Anyone he hits will suffer the same blue effect and will have their gravity doubled. Papyrus shouts, "You're blue now!"

-Custom 1: Blue Poof—Papyrus warps higher, but there is no followup attack. Those caught in Papyrus’s disappear/reappear will still turn blue.

-Custom 2: Skeleton Slam—Lower, but gives Papyrus super armor and deals more damage. No blue effect.

Down special: Special Attack—Papyrus grabs his awesome special attack and hurls it; the Annoying Dog runs out from behind his legs and scampers after the special attack, damaging anyone it runs into. The bone causes meteor if it hits someone off the stage.

-Custom 1: Blue Bones—Papyrus’s attack hurts a moving opponent. Does more damage if the opponent is running or attacking when in contact with the bone.

-Custom 2: Special Piercer—Papyrus hurls his awesome special attack in a straight line. Annoying Dog goes faster, but the dog doesn’t cause as much damage. The bone deals more damage.

Final Smash: Super Dating Power—Papyrus changes into his “dating clothes” and is joined by Sans. They produce several basketballs and proceed to dunk them. Anybody caught by the basketballs will take big damage and get launched. The text “geeettttttt dunked on!” appears on the screen in lowercase Comic Sans MS. Papyrus then falls back to the ground. If nobody is hit, Sans says, “welp, i tried."

Taunts:

Up taunt: Turns to the screen and mimics his battle pose, laughing “Nyeh heh heh!”

Side taunt: Plucks off his left arm and swirls it in the air.

Down taunt: Juggles his skull.

Victory Poses:

-Jumps into view and poses with arms akimbo, looking off towards the upper right corner of the screen. "This will get me into the royal guard for sure!"

-Reads out of the dating book, then smirks at the camera.

-Twirls around, holding a steaming plate of spaghetti.

Alternate Costumes:

1. Standard appearance from Undertale.

2. Black and white color scheme based on the battle screen from Undertale.

3. Colors resemble Sans’s overworld sprite.

4. Colors resemble Undyne’s overworld sprite.

5. Colors resemble Muffet’s overworld sprite.

6. Colors resemble Toriel’s overworld sprite.

7. Colors resemble Frisk’s overworld sprite.

Trophy Description:

Papyrus: A brave skeleton from the underground, Papyrus and his brother Sans act as border guards for the town of Snowdin. The passionate Papyrus has a love for puzzles and spaghetti, and may act brash, but he has a good heart. In Smash, Papyrus uses bones to attack as he does in Undertale.

Papyrus (Alt): Papyrus’s Blue Attack is useful in that it raises the gravity of whoever Papyrus strikes. Use this to punish any foes that come to finish you off the stage! Papyrus also puts his spaghetti skills to work; no one likes taking a boiling pot of spaghetti to the face!

Super Dating Power: In terms of the ancient craft of dating, Papyrus’s skill is unmatched, and that goes to show with his Final Smash. No one can resist the power of BASKETBALL and DOUBLE-DATING, so when Sans comes down to dunk some hoops on the competition, your opponents don’t stand a chance!

Palutena’s Guidance:

Pit: That is one spooky, scary skeleton.

Palutena: He sends shivers down my spine!

Pit: Who is he, anyway?

Palutena: I’m not sure… I think his name is Papyrus, and he’s from some sort of underground realm…

Pit: A soldier for the Underworld Army!

Palutena: No, I don’t think that’s it; Papyrus seems much too charismatic to be a common mook. He seems quite proud of himself, and he’s quite the looker.

Pit: The very same things can be said about Pandora…

Palutena: True, but something about Papyrus screams “good guy” to me; perhaps he’s a simple skeleton with a dream. Apparently he doesn’t like skeleton puns.

Pit: I’ve got a bone to pick with him!

Palutena: That wasn’t very humerus.
